Founder of Berashith Ministry
El-Azar grew up on a farm in the maize triangle, South Africa. As an adult, he always had a desire to go back to his home town to become a farmer, but God called him for something different. After completing his thesis in Agricultural Economics (Ph.D) and lecturing at the University of the Free State, El-Azar made a vow to the Lord in the year 2000 to sacrifice everything for full time ministry.
“It took me 14 years to get out of the Babylon System. I could not fully understand what was happening during that period of time, when I lost everything, including a well-established consultation business, the family farm business and real estate. I reached my lowest point during my divorce, when I lost my three children when they were still at a very young age. After desperately crying out for help for so many years, GOD came in 2014, took my hand and started restoring my life. For seven more years the Holy Spirit trained and equipped me for a healing ministry, which had been prophesied over me in 2010.
I know what it means to be successful in Babylon. I also know what it feels like to literally lose everything you have. But, I also know how wonderful it is when our Almighty God restores everything!”
Currently El-Azar is in a full time healing ministry of his own. Healing in Greek is the word Sōzō, meaning “to save, that is, deliver or protect [literally or figuratively], heal, preserve, save [self], do well, be [make] whole”. This is exactly what the function of this ministry is!
“Never ever will I forget My Beloved, who brought me out of Egypt (slavery) unto sonship! I am truly now a son of adoption! I am born from above and I cry out: ‘Abba Father! Daddy, my life belongs to You.'”
El-Azar’s mission, until Jesus returns, is:
“at each and every sunrise I will awake to do what’s right, and put to silence those who love wickedness, freeing God’s people from their evil grip. I will do all of this because of my great love for you”! (Psalm 101:8 TPT).
The lives of believers are falling apart, mainly because the Church in general has become powerless. Most spiritual leaders merely make the captives and brokenhearted comfortable in their discomfort, because they simply do not know how to set them free. Just as the woman, who was held captive by a crippling spirit for eighteen years, was set free and healed when Jesus walked into her life, you too can receive divine healing in your spirit, soul and body (Luke 13:11).
Over the past seven years I have seen how the forces of darkness wrap and enslave God’s sons and daughters with lies, deceptions and delusions, mainly because of the lack of a solid foundation in their lives. When the storm comes (e.g. sicknesses and diseases, financial shortages and poverty, broken relationships, divorce, miscarriages, suicidal thoughts, suicide, murder and brokenness because of trauma and sin) the house does not stand strong, but it perishes (Luke 6:46-49).
The Lord gave Berashith Ministry the instruction to “Lay Down the Foundation” and to bring deep Biblical truths to the members of the Body of Christ. These truths will lead you out of bondage and slavery into your Dominion Rest in the Promised Land, to inherit the Kingdom of God. As soon as believers apply the Kingdom Laws, Statutes and Commandments prescribed in the Word of God, they receive breakthrough in their health, wealth, and freedom! I am a living testimony that obedience to the Word of God results in powerful victory!
